Desktop Integration Types

What is a Desktop Integration?

Desktop Integration types associate an app with an action inside of AgencyCloud. A desktop type can change the behaviour of a button on a certain screen, or appear as an additional option on certain records.

How does it work?

If an app is a AgencyCloud app (an app that launches inside of AgencyCloud), it will show a Desktop Integration Type. Based on the type selected, please see the following associated behaviours or actions it will relate to:

Property

When an app with a type of 'Property' is installed, an Apps menu will appear on the Property screen.

Applicant

When an app with a type of 'Applicant' is installed, an Apps menu will appear on the Applicant screen.

ID Check

When an app with the type of 'ID Check' is installed, it will replace the behaviour of the native 'Identity Check' button on a record such as a 'Contact' or 'Applicant'

Property Marketing Information

When an app with the type of 'Property Marketing Information' is installed, it will replace the standard property marketing screen in AgencyCloud.

Vendor Marketing Report

When an app with the type of 'Vendor Marketing Report' is installed, it can produce a customised Vendor Marketing Report.

Property Detail Generation (Print wizard)

When an app with the type of 'Property Detail Generation' is installed, it can replace the standard details template generation and brochure ordering process. An app will then be launched from the Applicant Interest and Reports screen in AgencyCloud.

Applicant Export

When an app with the type of 'Applicant Export' is installed, it will enable the app to be used to export the details of an applicant to a separate system.

An application of this type would be triggered in two ways from AgencyCloud:

1. Upon first save of the applicant

2. As an option when clicking Print on the applicant screen:

Landlord

When an app with the type of 'Landlord' is installed, an Apps menu will appear on the Landlord screen.

Apps button on landlord screen (when lettings accounts is turned off)

Apps button on landlord screen (when lettings accounts is turned on)

Contact

When an app with the type of 'Contact' is installed, an Apps menu will appear on the Contact screen.

Company

When an app with the type of 'Company' is installed, an Apps menu will appear on the Company screen.

Tenancy

When an app with the type of 'Tenancy' is installed, an Apps menu will appear on the Tenancy screen.

Offer

When an app with the type of 'Offer' is installed, an Apps menu will appear on the Offer screen.

Sales Progression

When an app with the type of 'Sales Progression' is installed, it can be launched from the Sales Progression button on the offers screen in AgencyCloud:

Chain Management

When an app with the type of 'Chain Management' is installed, it can be launched from the 'Chain' button on the offers screen in AgencyCloud:
